Server

Metering API and Data Management

  • The server system comprises of data management system and necessary hardware and software components for communication with the      meter and database server
  • The metering API is designed for easy integration with any third party database program.
  • MDMS processes the data of each individual customer recieved from the meter and updates his records and transfers the data to CRM for      billing processes and other management activities.
  • MDMS(Meter Data Management System) displays all power related parameters including power on/off status, disconnected / connected      status, prepaid /post paid status, fault condition, TOU zones and consumption.
  • Management software provides easy monitoring of each meter installed in a region.

Meters

  • Single and poly-phase meters with 0.2,0.5 Class accuracy and confirms to IEC, ANSI, IS Standards
  • Comprehensive event capture system
  • Flexible rate management
  • Prepaid and Postpaid in one meter. No need to change the meter if the consumer opt to do so
  • Ability to show pending dues and custom messages
  • Self installing system and Auto registration facility
  • A new meter automatically registers with Server database thus obviating the need for Meter data entry
  • Supports 110V and 240V systems (50-60Hz)
  • Active Power, Reactive and Apparent power
  • Real-time (connected load) load display
  • 60A/100A per phase with supply cut-off switch
  • IP53 compliant enclosure with tamper proof terminals
  • Patented design

Communication

AMR

SENSTRA AMI brings in the most simplified way of data transfer between the Server and the metering device. This approach is simple and straight forward and can be easily adopted to any geographical conditions. The main advantage of this type of communication is that the distance between the meter and the server is unlimited and no extar harware /software is needed. The unique approch in encryption and decryption also make SENSTRA AMI system fully secure.
Also to meet the requirements mentioned in ANSI, IEC and IS standards and specific requirements mentioned by the power providers, all meters have default option for taking reading manually, option for communication through handheld devices (optical port) and LPRF communication which acts as a mesh network in low GSM coverage areas.
